The Albornoz fortress has always been a popular destination for tourists, and today offers a great collection of works from the "National Museum of the Duchy" displayed in the rooms of the mighty stronghold. From its defensive paths and the elegant watchtowers you can enjoy a wonderful view of an unspoilt landscape, on one side the Ponte delle Torri and on the other of the big Spoleto valley together with the town historic center, that used to be the capital city of the Lombard Duchy.
